Multiyear series of public art activations and stunts across the country. The campaign used immersive art as a tool to demand Congressional action on three interlocking priorities: clean energy, good-paying union jobs in the green economy, and climate justice for communities most impacted by environmental harm. Rather than traditional advocacy, we met people in their neighborhoods, on their streets, and in their feeds, with work that was visually arresting enough to earn attention on its own terms.
Each activation was built around a distinct format and a local artist, scaling from guerrilla to monumental depending on the moment. A towering ice sculpture in Butte, Montana commissioned a local carver to visualize a sustainable community. A papel picado-inspired installation in Phoenix, rooted in the heritage of artist Daniel González, was placed at a community garden in South Phoenix before debuting at an indie film festival. In Brooklyn, an interactive ice sculpture was paired with live screen printing at the Brooklyn Public Library, giving attendees free bags to take the message home. In Washington, D.C., a 16-foot wall of oil drums outside Capitol Hill drew Politico coverage and a surprise appearance from Senator Ed Markey.
Every activation was paired with a digital amplification strategy: local Reddit seeding drove tens of thousands of views per city, influencer commissions extended reach nationally, and earned media coverage landed in local outlets across every market.
